Scripture Text:
"Lord, your love reaches to the heavens your
faithfulness reaches to the skies." (Psalm 36:5)
Thought:
God is faithful! Do you ever think about that? Do you
realize what it means?
What it means is that God will fulfill the promises he has made to
us. The most important one is the one regarding eternal life.
God tells us that if we follow his commands, he will forgive us of our
sins and give us an eternal home with him.
The great thing about this is that it doesn't matter what you've done
in the past. It doesn't matter that you're not perfect. All
that matters is that you give your life Christ and He will take care of
the rest!
Prayer:
Faithful heavenly Father, We thank you for your solemn
word. We thank you that we can trust in what you have told us.
We know that we are sinful people. We also know that you are a
loving, forgiving God. Therefore, since you have promised
forgiveness, we will receive it. Help us to recognize what a great
gift this is that you have given us. Help us to realize that we must
give our lives over to you, so that you can fulfill the promise you made
to us. Lead us in that direction. In Christ's name, Amen.
