Prayer Concerns

Lucille Alred, Cory Young’s great-aunt, had a radical mastectomy Monday to address her breast cancer.

Joann Campbell is currently suffering from shingles.

bullet

Darlene Crask continues to recover at home. Calls, visits, and letters of encouragement are welcome.

bullet

The family of Lucy Green continues to mourn her death.

bullet

Betty Hale, former member, pulled her shoulder and will be having shoulder surgery again.

bullet

The family of Linda Hillerich, Jennifer Collins’s friend, is mourning her death.

bullet

Barbara McClellan, Peg Clark’s friend, has had lung cancer for seven years; she recently started a new chemotherapy treatment.

bullet

Sondra McCutchen, former member, continues to face colon problems.

bullet

Pamela Morris has a benign mass on her thyroid that will probably have to be removed soon.

bullet

Michael Mundell, Amanda Friend’s friend, was recently killed in Iraq.  He left behind a wife and four children.

Nortina, Debbie Fields’s friend, is facing financial troubles.

bullet

Diana Collins’s sister, Sandra Rederick, is trying to find stability for her son, Anthony, who struggles with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

Rebecca Thompson, Margaret Green’s granddaughter, recently had a full body scan that showed no signs of cancer.

bullet

Dennis Trusty, Mike Evans’s friend, recently had surgery on his back.  Doctors are concerned about his lymphatic system.

Continue to pray for these people, as well: Natalie Burgess, Lysa Clark, Madison Cornwell, Jim Davis, Charles Ferrell, Adam Hoskins, Bobby Hughett, Lynn Johnson, Cecil Murdock, Barbara Pearce, Mark Posey, Harrison Risk, Virginia Woodward, and James White.

New Beginnings:  On the bulletin board, there are signup slots available for 2007.  The next drop-off day is February 18.

Wednesday Night Class:  This Wednesday and February 7, Earl Collins will be teaching the Peak of the Week class.  The class will only meet in the evening these two weeks.

Office Closed: The church office will be closed through February 1 while the Benfers are in Texas. If you need anything during this time, please contact Chester or Earl.  The office will also be closed February 6-8 while Kent recovers from getting his wisdom teeth pulled.

bulletFortieth Anniversary:  The date for the fortieth anniversary, a homecoming celebration, has been set!  Please mark your calendar for August 4-5 and begin telling your friends.  More details will follow.
