Prayer Concerns

Lucille Alred, Cory Young’s great-aunt, had a radical mastectomy recently to address her breast cancer.  Preliminary reports show that nothing has spread to the lymph nodes.

Chester Ambrose recently had the first of several eye surgeries.

Darlene Crask continues to recover at home. Calls, visits, and letters of encouragement are welcome.

bullet

Betty Hale, former member, pulled her shoulder and will be having shoulder surgery again.

bullet

Jo Massey recently cut her finger and received several stitches.  She has also been having knee problems.

bullet

Sondra McCutchen, former member, continues to face colon problems.

bullet

Nortina Henceroth, Debbie Fields’s friend, is facing financial troubles.

bullet

Diana Collins’s sister, Sandra Rederick, is trying to find stability for her son, Anthony, who struggles with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

Beth Walker, Jane Douglas-Foote’s friend, recently had a stroke.  She is 48 years old.

bulletWednesday Night Class:  This Wednesday Earl Collins will be teaching the Peak of the Week class.  The class will only meet in the evening this week. 
bulletOffice Closed: The church office will be closed Tuesday-Thursday while Kent recovers from getting his wisdom teeth pulled. 
bulletLadies Days:  The Northside Church of Christ in Jeffersonville will be hosting a Ladies Day, “The Pearl of Great Price” featuring Jane McWhorter on February 24. The Midwest Church of Christ will be hosting their 20th Annual Ladies’ Day, “A Virtuous Woman” on April 14, featuring Sister Betty Wise.  Please see the bulletin board for more details. 
bulletFortieth Anniversary:  The date for the fortieth anniversary, a homecoming celebration, has been set!  Please mark your calendar for August 4-5 and begin telling your friends.  More details will follow.

Baptist East: We are still collecting individually-wrapped snacks for the patients at Baptist East.  There is a letter of appreciation for past snacks posted on the bulletin board.

Lockup, Greeter, and Communion:  The 2007 signup sheet is available in the foyer.  Please sign up if you are willing to serve.  There are still many available opportunities to serve.
