Prayer Concerns

Lucille Alred, Cory Young’s great-aunt, had a radical mastectomy recently to address her breast cancer.  Preliminary reports show that nothing has spread to the lymph nodes.

Chester Ambrose recently had the second of several eye surgeries.

Christina Bowling recently had further dental work.

bullet

Darlene Crask is in the hospital in LaGrange, KY, for fluid retention. Calls, visits, and letters of encouragement are welcome.

Eileen Isenberg, Ken and Dan Isenberg’s mother, spent time in the hospital this week, but is now at home.

Jo Massey has been having serious knee problems.

Viriginia Mouser, Carolyn Isenberg’s mother, is in the hospital in Madison, IN.

Sondra McCutchen, former member, continues to face colon problems.

Nortina Henceroth, Debbie Fields’s friend, is facing financial troubles.

Diana Collins’s sister, Sandra Rederick, is trying to find stability for her son, Anthony, who struggles with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

Beth Walker, Jane Douglas-Foote’s friend, recently had a stroke.  She is 48 years old.

Sunday Night:  Please join us tonight for Kent’s lesson on Hosea 2:14-23, “God’s Answer to Our Idolatry.”

New Beginnings:  On the bulletin board, there are signup slots available for 2007.  Next week is the drop-off day for February.  We currently do not have anyone signed up.

Wednesday Night Class:  This Wednesday, we will resume having both the 11:00 and 7:00 classes on Acts.

Hewetts’ Reception:  Next Sunday, February 18, is Scott & Brenda Hewett’s last Sunday here at Middletown.  They will be moving to Nashville, TN.  Please join us for a reception in their honor immediately following morning worship.

Life Line Screening: We will be hosting Life Line Screening, a community-wide health screening on Thursday, February 22.  In the foyer, there are pink flyers with more details.

Ladies Days:  On February 24, the Northside Church of Christ in Jeffersonville will be hosting a Ladies Day, “The Pearl of Great Price” featuring Jane McWhorter. The Midwest Church of Christ will be hosting their 20th Annual Ladies’ Day, “A Virtuous Woman” on April 14, featuring Sister Betty Wise.  You must sign up by February 25. Fortieth Anniversary:  The date for the fortieth anniversary, a homecoming celebration, has been set!  Please mark your calendar for August 4-5 and begin telling your friends.  More details will follow.
