Keith Benfer, Kent Benfer’s father, got a job this week after his plant closed last year.

Lysa Clark starts chemotherapy for her cancer on March 9.

Darlene Crask is in room 246 at Oaklawn. Calls, visits, and letters of encouragement are welcome.

Vickie Green, Bobby Green’s daughter-in-law, was attacked and bitten by a dog this week.  She suffered no serious injury.

Scott and Brenda Hewett were able to close on their house this week.  Pray for them and their move. Also, Scott faces uncertainty about the future of his job as his company was sold recently.

Janie Mofield, Budde Egner’s friend, is in Oaklawn room 123 with cancer.

Barbara Pearce, Joann Campbell’s friend, is undergoing chemotherapy.

bullet

Robert Phillips faces some uncertainty about his job status.

Becky Wooten has suffered a stroke.

Ladies Day:  This Saturday, March 3, the Newburg Church of Christ will host a Ladies Day, “Worthy or Worthless,” featuring Gloria Gilbert.  Please see the bulletin board for more details.

Fellowship:  March 8-11, the Eastland Church of Christ will be hosting a series of lessons on the meaning of fellowship.  There will also be a congregational singing on Sunday, March 11.  Please see the bulletin board for more information.

Peak of the Week:  This Wednesday, March 7, will be the last Wednesday for our 11:00AM service since Daylight Savings Time resumes March 11.

Business Meeting:  The next bi-monthly business meeting will be Monday, March 12, at 7:00PM in the fellowship hall.

New Beginnings:  On the bulletin board, there are signup slots available for 2007.  The next drop-off day is March 18.

Ladies Day:  On March 24, the Watterson Trail Church of Christ will host a Ladies Day, “Showers of Blessings.”  You must sign up by March 21.

bulletFortieth Anniversary:  Please mark your calendar for August 4-5 and begin telling your friends about our fortieth anniversary homecoming celebration. More details will follow.  The next meting will be next Sunday, March 11, at 5:15PM in the auditorium.  Please bring ideas and names (and addresses, if you have them!) of former members to invite.
