The mother of Cheryl Priddy, Jennifer Collins’s co-worker, passed away last week.

Blake Ramsey, grandson of Janis Lewis’s friend, Inez Duke, is serving in Bagdad, Iraq.

David Wilkins, Rose Ellis’s brother-in-law had successful surgery recently.

George Wood, Lysa Clark’s boss’s husband, had successful bypass surgery Wednesday.

Mary Woodward, Joann Campbell’s sister, is suffering from back problems.

Sunday Night: Please join us tonight for our evening worship.

Christian Academy of Louisville:  This Thursday, April 26 at 6:00PM, we will again be hosting the CAL Discovery Program graduation. (Former member, Julie Long, teaches in this program.)  All are invited to be here to celebrate the achievements of these young people.

Church Workday:  This Saturday, April 28, will be a church workday, giving us the chance to do some needed projects around the building and grounds.  Join us at 9:00AM for this opportunity to serve!

Joint Service:  Sunday evening, May 6, we will host a joint service with the brothers and sisters from Watterson Trail Church of Christ.  We will meet at our regular evening worship time, followed by a special time of fellowship in the fellowship hall.  Please make plans to be here that evening!

New Beginnings:  Please sign up if you will bring food for this ministry next month.  The next drop-off day is May 20.  They are currently housing seven men.

bulletFortieth Anniversary:  Our fortieth anniversary homecoming celebration will be August 4-5. A Save-the-Date card should be arriving in your mail some time this week!

Baptist East: Posted on the bulletin board is the thank you note the church received this week for our donations of snacks, magazines, and cards. We are still collecting magazines and individually-wrapped snacks for the patients at Baptist East.  Please see Diana Collins for more details.

Missions Opportunity:  The church’s missions fund has received donations in memory of Lucille Green.  Bobby has requested that this be given to a new missions effort.  If you know of a cause that could use this one-time donation, please give your idea to Bill Reed.
